4wd slipping in/out
Haven't been here in awhile, but only because my truck hasn't given me any issues until now.
Since most of the east coast is covered in snow, I, like many, have needed my 4wd. The issue is when traveling on snow, the 4wd slips in and out as I drive. It does not seem to do it on dry pavement, or when accelerating. Only just cruising. I was thinking it is likely the shift motor, but after researching it on here, I'm concerned it might be something else. So before I spend the money for the shift motor, and spend a couple of hours on my back in the snow covered driveway, I thought I'd run it by you guys to see what you think, and if I can test something/narrow it down.
