get a 8.8 if your going with those gears. cause im guessing your planning on some big tires and the 7.5 is not going to withstand anything bigger then 33s.

EDIT: let me rephrase for those who will jump all over me, you can get away with bigger meats on the 7.5 but i dont recommend it.

well im only getting 33's and wont be offroad at all...also what would the cost difference be between getting new gears for the 7.5 than getting an 8.8....also if i get an 8.8 would i just have to regear that too??

Get the 8.8 and install the 4:56's in there... it's built much stronger and will last longer.

You get what you pay for.

Not sure what engine you got but my 4 banger and 4.10's is fine with 33's. I will eventually get lower gears cause I will be getting tires. And most 8.8's have 4.10's stock. I would just get the 8.8.

You will have to flip the spring perches and weld new shock mounts on it.
