What is this hose?
Hello everyone. I have a 2003 ranger 2.3. Im in need of some help identifying a couple hoses. The first is a hose connected to the intake which connects to the top of the engine next to the oil cap. I’ve done a ton of googling and everything I find points to it being the pcv valve hose. So I bought a pcv valve hose and sure enough, it doesn’t fit. The hose isn’t even long enough and it’s definitely thicker than the one that’s there. The elbow on this hose has a major kink in it. I believe I have a vacuum leak and this is the only hose that seems out of wack. The second hose is connected to the radiator expansion tank or degas tank I believe some people have called it. It goes from there to the engine? Or whatever the accessory belt is connected to. This hose is cracked and just wanna replace it. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

First picture is the Vent or Breather hose, its "part" of the PCV system, it can pull in "filtered air" or let out excess "blow-by" as needed
The PCV Valve and its hose are on drivers side, mid-engine, down by oil pan, pain to get at and Ford suggests changing PCV Valve every year, you can see it thru driver side wheel well
Not sure what you are looking at in second picture?
Center is power steering hose and reservoir
Just under it is power steering pressure line and pressure sensor(green plug)

Thanks for the reply RonD. Throughout my research I’ve seen it can definitely be a pain to replace the PCV Valve lol you wouldn’t happen to know where I could find that vent/breather hose? I can’t seem to find it anywhere online. All of my searching points me to this dang PCV Valve hose...In the second pic, it’s the big hose above the green clip. It connects to the bottom of the coolant expansion tank.
