leaking coolant 2001 2.3 ranger

That is a REAL bummer.
The 2.3l Duratec engine in the 2001, and up, Rangers was designed for front wheel drive cars, so for transverse mounting.
With this in mind there is a coolant outlet on the back of the engine, very easy to access on a transverse mounted engine..................................
But in the longitudinal engine mounted setup in the Ranger it is one PITA to get to.
You pretty much have to pull out the transmission to get to it.
So a REAL bummer

I think it is call the coolant recovery tank hose.
Found video on it but could find the "part 2" mentioned
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IQTWG91Ix3w
Also this thread has some pictures: https://www.ranger-forums.com/2-3l-2...t-hose-134714/
From what I have read cost of having it replaced runs $600-$800, lots of labor.
The parts run $60-$80
