I do like the replaceable clip more myself now that I know how easy it can be to harm the line. I didn't have any problems with mine though. I have the tool and I will try it next time.

UPDATE

Thought my disconnect tool would be delivered today and it didn't, got pi$$ed and rolled under the truck. I have the exact same connection as pictured in post no. 20 from Alan. All I had to do is use my finger nail (!) to press on the green (and orange) tabs respectively and they came off really easy. The whole procedure was a breeze. I'll send that tool back should it ever arrive LOL Thanks again all. CM
