What do you think about this indash?

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1108125505761

I am looking into getting an indash setup and was wondering what your thoughts were on this? I don't want to spend 2 grand on a HU when I could spend 2 grand on an rcd kit.

Thanks!

absolutely not man...no way

go with either a single drop down tv, or tv's in the visors...WAY cheaper, good screen output, etc...

i was going for tv's in the visors, but midway got wrapped up in other mods and chunked that idea out the window...

You get what you pay for with electronics. I wouldn't get any screens other than alpine myself, but there are a few descent others out there

well it all depends on if you like that or not if you want to have people look into your ranger and see a dvd player than thats what you get but if you off road alot and really dont need it then dont get it but if i had a ranger that i wanted to soup up for street then i would put a dvd player in it too.....

oh if your wondering im a and im just trying to get in the mud with all the rest of the rangers on ranger forums.... my name is marcos

Wait for the NEW 2006 Aplines.

My thing is if your going to spend around the $1,000 range go for the best, do it right the first time, and get what you want. Personally I want the DVD Navi. versions that way i dont need to find another spot to put the player or w/e.

Ok guys, I dropped that concept all together. Instead, I bought an 8" Lilliput monitor. And I have officially started my truckputer :) I am also looking into a custom box in the rear for 2 10's and amps. I think even 2 monitors back there as well.
