Re: What up yo!

Those are bigger...and remind me of some old MMATS stuff. How about getting that massive Dark Blue amp on an MMATS Juggernaut. Boom.

They certainly look like they cost much more than they are worth.

Light perusal of their website and specifically the amplifier specifications leads me to beleive the amplifiers are decent performers. The question is how much do they cost. The 2 channel "competition" amp would be a good deal for maybe $600 or so, but I bet it costs a lot more than that. Given the poor exchange rate right now with Europe I'd say that a good deal is even less likely.

they are amazing amps all the way around..esp the sound.

if i was buying for looks i go with the audiobahnPOS and the reason none of you have heard these amps is because they are very rare and not very widely known...similar to rainbow(some of the best speakers ever made)

I'm not a fan of memphis...ive seen dozens better but whatever blows your skirt up.

edit:

A side note..

Comparing memphis to helix is like comparing VW to Aston Martin.

RedRanger.... LMAO I got that same amp man.... I love it, it never gets hot and pushes tons of power..... although this is a good amp, I have always loved and will always love Power Akoustic and Prescision Power Ind. (PPI) AMPs... they jsut push soooooo hard.

Yes it is, but many manufactures lie through their asses about how much power their amps put out. So an advertised watt is suddenly not a watt.. Then there's the whole frequency response, noise cancelation/SNR, and efficiency issue.. It's tuff to make a good amp. Trust me I've tried!

And apples are oranges. 1 watt at 10hz is not the same as 1 watt at 10khz.

Any amp manufacturer that does not specify frequency range of the signal it used to test with, the voltage supplied to the amp for the test or whether the test is an instantaneous sine wave burst or a constant RMS output (type of signal used) is not someone I would buy from.
