Think im goin with the Infinity Kappa 682.7cf

i did a search and someone said you caint run them with a stock steiro. is that true?? and where did you guys mount the corssovers, i havent taken a door pannel off yet and dont know how much room is in there. and if you guys have a better idea let me know, ive been going back and fourth betwen the kappas and the pioneer ts-a6882r.

ill be running the stock sterio for awhile to see how it sounds, but proabbly end up with a head unit and a small sub... just so you know where im headed.

my friend put them in his '07 focus with the stock HU (his new kenwood is on it's way). They work good, but will sound real nice with an aftermarket HU.. he stuffed the crossovers inside of the door panel and secured them real good.

i have them in my truck josh. if you can come hear them if you want i dont think you live to far from me. ive had them for a little over 2 years. I had them with a stock HU, then and aftermarket HU, then powered by 50 RMS amp and they sound amazing, very loud. The highs are amazing, dont expect great bass though, thays why i have a sub too

ok thanks! ill see how far you are.. is the bass better then stock? cause the amount of bass stock is alright its just horrible quality. did they at least top the stockers even with the stock headunit?

thanks, JOSH

They are much more clear sounding. The bass is more precise, but I would imagine with an aftermarket HU they would have a pretty good bass response for a 6x8 speaker. I would go for these just for the incredible highs and midrange, and get a sub/subs if you want good bass.

ok thats kinda what i was expecting.. the only thing is i dont have room for a sub right now. i need to get a roof rack first so i can put my stuff up there and have a small box in the back. in due time, in due time... ok thanks guys i think ima get them i havent once read a review where someone did like them.

when i mounted my crossovers in the doorpanels today, i had to trim some plastic, but besides that, it fit pretty well..
