are they MP3 capable?

 

Most are....what year n type vehicle is it out of,also can you get a id# off the radio?

 

thats the pioneer out of a sport trac..and as far as i know, if it dont say mp3, it dont play mp3

 

Is that the one out of the older tremors? I am not sure if they are or not. All the other CD6's that play mp3 cds say MP3 on the face plate.

Yea in 03 the CD6s were not MP3, I dont think most of the older 6discs are.

It would say it on the front if it was

 

welp.......that sucks......i want 1, but i think i want a CD6/MP3 with the AUX jack in the back.....

i got a trade offer from a guy here that will trade for my Pioneer DEH-6800P, but his don't have the AUX jack......i talked to a guy on RPS that has a CD6 (no MP3) with the AUX jack and all the Sirius stuff for $140 shipped........geeze decisions decisions....

 

if you have either aux jack or the mp3 it will accomplish the same thing.

the aux jack would be nicer though. no cds to burn

 

huh? why would the aux jack and an MP3/CD6 do the same thing? i am confused? are you talking about using the AUX jack (on the back of the radio) to hook up an iPod?

i want an MP3/CD6 w/ an aux jack so i can hook up either a satelite tuner or a RCA cable output from the AUX jack...

 

get a newer unit with sat already.

no need for MP3 if you can hook the ipod into the aux jack

 

i don't have an ipod....don't want 1 either.....that is why i want one with the aux jack (or sat ready) and mp3......i have over 200 songs on 1 cd in the player i have now (i don't think they will all fit on 6 disc), i just want to go to a stock unit...
