going off subject, but: hey christian, did you ever find out what you're going to get next for your system?

 

Yeah, dynamat is too expensive for me, at least for now. Still trying to find a local place to buy (or at least look at) this peel and seal stuff. I'd be willing to buy enough of the cheap stuff to cover everything twice. Still need to bolt down my box, it's trying to take flight since it's downward firing and about 4 inches off the floor.

 

I've got some generic stuff in my truck. It doesn't stick quite as well as Dynamat. I peeled it off my doors after it slid down a little and reapplied it with some 3M Super 77 spray adhesive. So far so good. It cost about $18 for a ~30x50 sheet. I can give you some info if you'd like...

I don't know about sound of speakers, because I use alpine for everything except my sub amp, and that s.o.b. blows the living **** out of the competition that I've put it against
