New 10" Kicker..More than impressed.
So I went and ordered a 10" Pioneer flatmount speaker in a custom Pioneer box made for vehicles with limited space..Well the supplier messed up and sent a 12" Speaker in the same box..Neat looking box, got a 12" for the price of a 10",yadda yadda. I went inside to pay and I noticed I stopped hearing the bass from inside, just thought my wife turned it down..Well it turns out she turned up the bass on my radio all the way it blew the speaker.. No big deal, so they oredered me a 10" Kicker CVT102 instead (per my request).. This lil ****er HITS!!!!! Here are some pics...Check out the tiny *** box, pretty sweet.

I had the lder model in my 93 but when I wrecked it someone gave me a Pontiac Parisienne to drive till i got a new truck Well It had a big a$$ trunk and I could hear that i was straining the speaker and blew the hell out of the voice coils. Thats when I "upgraded" to my MTX 12 and I have to say I liked the kicker better

thats looks good.i was leary about going with a shallow mount so im going with 2 kicker l7 8's ported.same power range, practically the same depth but the 8's use smaller air space so its perfect.im waiting on the box to be built and the subs shopuld be at my door step wednesday and then the amp.

Just got it from a lil speakershop down here I've gone to since HighSchool.. Got 2 new Fosgate 6x9's in my front doors, 2 Orion Tweeters, Rockford Fosgate Punch p400 Amp, The 10" Shallowmount sub in the box you see, and brand new wiring for $550 (Paid them $600 for being cool about the blown speaker and told them they had my business all the time) walkout...Not bad, I dont think...I think the shallowmount speaker is $190-220 by itself, not sure about the whole custom box....
