the harness you buy will be color coded to the stereo. you don't even need to know the factory wiring. purple to purple, gray to gray, white to white, orange to orange, yellow to yellow, black to black, purple/black to purple/black, green to green.... i think you get the idea. it's pretty much industry standard.

but if you just want to read more look here.

also if you want to do the video bypass, get a standard relay and wire like so:

Check out amazon... I think they'll ship up to you in Canada.

THIS THIS
dash kit should work for most double dins. You may need to trim the middle brace, but that's nothing an xacto knife won't fix.
I was going to get it for my DD mod coming up really soon, but I ordered a kit off evilBay... hopefully it won't be a turd

I've been a huge fan of Crutchfield for over 20 years, but they dropped the ball on the DD ranger/explorer dash kits on us. No matter how they look it up, it shows they don't have a dash kit.
They do have the wiring harness & I have one in my truck. Plugs right in the stock harness & you connect your aftermarket headunit wiring to it. BAM! done.

Yes. It's kind of an industry standard for aftermarket stereos. They should be labeled on the wire anyway though.

The purples grays grenade and whites are for the speakers. Green is parking brake. Red and yellow are power. Orange is the dimmer. The blue is your amp turn on. There's sme you won't se from the stereo.
