I'm with zach all the way...i had the 9855 in my cavalier and that thing compared to a pioneer premium, jvc arsenal, and a fosgate HU is non existent. the alpine sound output is so customizable and adjustable...and it is very forgiving to the acoustics of your vehicle....
I say Alpine

looks sweet to me, cant go wrong with alpine.
and clay(forzda) rf member, sells that same unit
http://forzda.com/catalog/product_in...roducts_id=595 for $300.

btw alpine HU can control an ipod from the face plate its self, you just have to plug the ipod in.

just my opinion i dont really like alpine dont know why, installed a 9855 in a buddys f250 and it was cool and all, but glide bar plain out sucks to me, and i cant use it at all, and going down the road trying to use it would be a joke

i like my clarion dxz955, touch screen and all, very easy to use everything is literarly at the tip of your finger, but menu and everything is easy to use and sounds awsome
i had a pioneer premier 860 and it would kill the crap out of my friends alpine in terms of sq and customzation

I have the 9833 in my truck and i really like the bass engine. But I would recommend the 04 models. I hate the 05s... alpine sorta went cheap on them because they picked up bestbuy as a national seller.
