My door pods

Well last year about this time i decided to do some door pods. I never got around to doing it so now i am. :) 1 selenium 8 and 1 selenium st200 tweeter in each door. Keeping it simple since this is my first set of door pods. Here some pics. I know there are a lot of imperfections but i got to learn somewhere.

How are you going to mount something that big in a door pod?

Run screws from the back of the door pod thru the metal in the door.

Like to hear about it!
What are you going to use for crossovers?

I'm curious to see how these are going to work.

Are you worried about the panels rattling? Or do you have a different way to secure them?

Make any progress?
I wanted to note that those speakers really wont work well for you. im sure you know that those are "pro audio" the supertweeter only has a 40deg dispersion path. They will need to be aimed directly at your ears or you will have a large dip in system response. the woofer only has a 2-3mm Xmax. not to mention they are extremely sensitive. they will be real loud but will lack warmth and should be very harsh. *

8" mid basses can sound awesome but you should use them with a dedicated mid-range or full range speaker in addition to a tweeter. instead of just a tweeter.

I would rather see you use one of those SA8 instead. find your self a fullrange with good upperend response to go with it.
