Mach MP3 headunit just stopped accepting CD's; alternatives?

So my stock head unit just gave up. The last couple of times I had to use needle nose pliers to remove the CD, it finally just wont accept them anymore. The radio still works, but I have so much music on both CD and MP3 discs.

I'm wondering if I go look on eBay for another used Mach MP3 unit so that it continues to look stock or if I just upgrade to something nicer. After reading a few threads here it looks like the Rangers are 1.5 din vs. 2 din. So the double din stuff I have seen in stores wont fit... arg.

Anyway I want to keep my truck looking 'classy' but I want something that can read MP3's and my budget is $300 and under, but for $300 I'd want something reeeeaaallll nice

Got any suggestions on decent head units that will work with little to no modification necessary?

but with a single din such as that one I will have a spacer or a empty spot, I'd rather fill it up with something or get a 1.5din unit :)

you can buy a dash kit so you can have room to store stuff in it

Tyler I like that one!!

We have very similar trucks so what did you have to do to get that to fit or was it fine stock? Also what are the specifics on that unit? It'd be nice to look into for the future because I'm sure thats not under $350

The only thing you have to do to fit a double din is trim the "lips" on the top and bottom of the radio bezel in the stereo opening. That headunit is the Pioneer AVIC-F700BT. It's a nav unit and I love every bit of it. You can pick up a used one for about $450 or so on Amazon. Only about another $30 for the install kit and wiring harness.
