Just bought an REX-8,questions..
As stated i just bought an 8" RE audio REX series subwoofer, this will be going into a .37cft sealed box. I will be powering it with an Alpine mrp350 mono channel amp.
what should i expect? how does the sub hit? will it pick up the lows?
for instance i have an MA 8" that sounds like poop below like 60hz
the only other set up i will have to compare it to in my truck was a pioneer tssw251 in a tiny box.
any info or opinions are appriciated

ok, so just got my new REX8.. huge huge step up from the MA.. what a waste.. anyway just threw it in my lil .37 sealed box they sound pretty damn good for being cheap. So if i get paid tomm (which i should) i will be building a box to specs, im going sealed for now to see how i like it im also ordering another REX8 and a new amp.. pretty stoked on this as of now ..
i would run the SA8s but they are to deep to run without loosing leg room.

i have 2 kicker l7 8's in a 1 cuft ported box, they share the same chamber and i have a kicker zx750.1 amp pushing them and these speakers hit really hard and low.everyone i know flips out when they see i have 8's.i have a single cab.im watching my back window flexing, door skins flexing and the rear view mirror vibrates off the windshield.also i have the tuning pretty dead on so it sounds good too.they do put out alot of bass.probably the only others 8's i would go with are dd1508.but its just a ranger so i didnt see the point of really dumping tons of money into the stereo.

ok, so not that i have a term-lab at my disposal but i did get a little favor from the guys at the dmv. Background: Delaware has pretty strict inspection, in tagged in Florida being as im active duty air force, so anyway i go to the dmv, ask the guy in the inspection lane if i can use his DB meter that they use for exhaust, he was bored and decided to run it for me .. a single 8 in .35 overall box it hit 103. so its not to shabby. im really impressed after i get my second sub and my new amp i wanna put it on a term lab just to see..
