IPod....and IPhone too?
I see that it's possible to hook up an IPod to my Ford Factory HU using the following adaptor kit:

I'm trying to determine whether an IPhone can also be hooked up using the aforementioned kit. Anybody know?
FWIW, the HU I have in my Ranger is actually an Explorer unit with the plugs for rear controls, steering controls, cd changer, and rear sub woofer.

Check the "Hands-on Research" Tab:
* iPod Photo (4th generation)
* iPod Video (5th generation)
* iPod U2
* iPod mini (1st/2nd generation)
* iPod nano (1st/2nd/3rd/4th generation)
* iPod classic (80/120/160GB)
Note: The iPod classic and nano 3rd/4th generation will not function when the interface is in Hybrid mode due to software changes in the newer iPods. The iPod 4th generation will not charge when connected to this adapter. Neither the iPhone, iPhone 3G, nor iPod touch are compatible.
