buy a new amp... you never know what internals are in the amp you buy online... someone could buy a good one and stuff it's internals in a ****ty amp, put the ****ty internals in the good amp and sell it off on craigslist

thanks for the heads up
would this one be a smart move?
Kenwood Excelon KAC-X10D Mono subwoofer amplifier 600 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield Outlet
the subs are 4 ohms so does that mean i have to get a 4 ohm amp with a matching rms rating or can i wire a 600w x 1 @ 2 ohm amp to work?

that amp is 600w @ 2ohm (single channel) which means it's 300w RMS @ 4 ohms, its a 300w amp... i don't know a whole lot about amps, to be honest with you, i have this amp though, and it fits under the seat in my truck (2007) should fit under yours also, depending on your year
