Factory head unit HELP!!

First off, all help is appreciated! I had a Boss audio double din head unit in my ranger (POS in my opinion) and it stopped working. I decided I would take it out and put in the factory head unit. To my discovery, for some reason, I only have one of pin connectors. I was wondering, what am I missing for it to work? On the Boss head unit the the one factory harness set was connected the ranger harness to connect to the Boss head unit. Sorry if this is confusing, just really wondering what I need to get the factory head unit to work again!

Yeah that should be all to get it working again. Is it not? Are you sure the radio works? Check all the fuses.

Thank you for the help. Found out that the fuse was blown so I changed that out and tried again with the factory head unit but it still didnt work. I hooked up the old boss stereo and it received power so I figure the factory head unit is shot.

check the fuse again, the stock radio could be shorting the line out and popping fuses

That extra plug shouldn't be needed. what factory unit is it? on my 07, I had a plug in harness there for the auxiliary port. Nothing on my 06. I think it is also used in like the tremor system.

Finally figured it out! It was a fuse after all. But now that I got that fixed and the radio works, my a/c stopped working. Could it be a fuse as well? Sorry for the newbie questions.

So, checked all the fuses and none were blown but tried the A/C and it seems to be working now. I'll be looking forward to that tomorrow and hoping it works. Thanks everyone for the help!
