custom 10" center console

custom 10" center console

Hey im attempting to design a center console to house a rockford fosgate 10 punch 1. I have a standard cab and was looking for some ideas on how to go about it or if anybody has pics and helpfull hints i would love to hear them any way thanks

you could fiberglass it or make it out of wood then wrap it in carpet...

awsome i started building it tonight out of wood the problem im having is that the rockford wont fit in the box and on between the seat so i decided to go and make a ring for the sub and support it outside the box and make a fiberglass collor for between the box and the sub ring so any clue how to make that happen

I was gonna say mount it sideways so it would fit then you could cover both sides(hidden) and then port it...It would look tight

I say mount it facing the rear... you'll get a dB gain from firing it behind the seats. I wouldn't port it at all. You probably couldn't make the enclosure big enough volume wise to do it correctly.

I would also add a place for some switches and stuff.

i plane on adding a center consloe that looks like there all one but are actuall two. Could you guys explan or show pics how to mount the sub side ways or to the rear i can mount the sub the way i have it know, upside down in the box because it wouldn't fit in the box in the first place. anyway thanks
