cubic feet in extended cab
im thinking of making a box for my subs with that will be 6 cubic feet. i want to run 2 12 L7s. but i dont want my subs facing up i want them facing the seats.
my question is im 6 ft 2 inches tall and have the slider on the seat all the way back. will i have enough room for a 6 cubic ft box back there? also i will have a battery back there as well.

Yes you will, but you'll have to manipulate your box's dimensions. You have way more than 6 cubic feet back there to play with.
I'm 6 foot, drive with my seat all the way back, and can recline a little bit with my box. I don't have any angles on it though as that would kill the wave guide of the box. But for you it's doable.

4.21296 cubic feet, based on those figures.
oops! forgot to show my work, as the professors always pointed out...
box dimensions: 40 X 13 X 14
size in cubic inches = 40*13*14 = 7280 cubic inches
cubic foot = 12*12*12 cubic inches, so...
(40*13*14)/(12*12*12) = 4.21296 cu. ft.
