Best place to route the hot wire

Hey y'all. I've routed a couple of hot wires for amps in my life, but on the Ford Ranger I could not find the perfect spot to route my 4 gauge hot wire. There is a rubber stopper on the drivers side but it doesn't seem right to use that. I temporarily routed it through the front of the driver side door but it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I am about to drill my own hole for this purpose but first want other people's ideas on the matter.

This is just what worked for me, I used the rubber grommet to the upper left of the brake pedal where there is already a bunch of wires coming in. Being very careful not to hit any wires, I drilled a hole smaller than my 4 ga wire in the rubber boot and pushed the wire through. It's sealed pretty well and not contacting metal so it works pretty good I think.

I used that same spot for my 0 gauge. It works good, then i pulled up that plastic strip by the door and ran the wire under it so you cant see it.

I used the steering boot for my 4ga power wire. But will eventually relocate to where all my other wires come through at: grommets in newly drilled holes under the engine bay fuse box.
