2006 stock sub to after market stereo HELP!
ive recently installed a after market stereo in my 2006 ford ranger xlt and i want to keep my factory subwoofer working.. it located in the center console under the cup holders. i need help doing this or at least getting the stock amp to work.. can someone help me through this or let me know which wire is the power wire to the amp?

I would start by popping off the trim panels on the console.. find the amp and look at the wires coming off of it. there is likely one or more thicker gauge wires in the bundle. those will likely be your power, the others will be sub signal and accessory/remote turn on.
post the wire colors or a pic if you need more help.

id actually like to see this lol but when you put in an after market radio all you have to do is remove the radio with a removal tool or a pair of flat head screw drivers. unclip the harness from the radio. I recommend getting a wiring harness for that specific year from an audio place and installing that so you can take the radio out and put in the factory one if you sell it in the future. you would also want the mounting bracket for the DIN radio and if need be a antenna adapter for AM/FM. Takes about 45mins or less. The amp itself will be wired to your battery not the radio. an amp has power, ground, rca's, aswell as remote and the speaker terminals for the sub. the radio only is connected through rca's and the remote wire to send a signal for the amp to turn on to power your woofer
