Old friend, new friend..
This is a Friends Stang. He bought it used and Literally tore it in half. I built the engine myself. He ran sub 7's in the 8th mile with a traction issue.
Anyone take a guess what all it has ? How much power? Or where it presently resides ?
Take a REALLY good look as some people miss a LOT of stuff thats there.

Here is one I painted a few weeks ago for a friend. He has the same car and engine setup minus the huffer. But he is going to run a 250 shot on 11:1 compresion and it has alum. ARP heads.

It has a fully balanced H-Beam assy underneath. 347cid. Its overkill on the bottom end. Has speed-pro slugs AND a Girdle ( ontop of being a 4 bolt ).
The cam durration is all I'm worried about. Had some heating problems in that stang, where its going isn't much bigger. The Vortec is being ditched in favor of a PS1C with an Innercooler.
Your correct. Its residing in my shop right now. I'm going to sell the Tranny ( Very Built Powerglide ) and the Vortec HU to make some funds for the exhaust and other items. It's going to stay 100% Emissions friendly.
I have a LOT of mig'in to do boxing everything and figuring a way to get it all to hook. Its definetly going EmTec3 stand alone with an external progressive controller ( already have both ). I might keep the hobbs/window switch setup for a second stang ontop of it all.
Its a dream, just have to get the energy together to make it reality instead of a ' pile-o-parts '.

The stang its out of ran 10sumthing once at Norwalk on BFG Drag radials ( Yep. 10.5 DOT's ). I think it could have ran MUCH better if the driver knew how to drive.
I could easily stuff that engine in ANY ranger ( swap kits/exploder stuff is usable ), but keeping the rest of the vehical ' straight ' is another story.
