not to take away from this but, whats the deal with fram? I use it on my truck. No problems with it from me.

The filter is from a company called Flo Ezy filters. They sell "High Performance" filter. It was in the remote oil cooler kit I got from Trusted Performance. Neither will be on the motro or in the same vicinity again.

No we did one better. If they don't want to honor their obligations to make a good product, and stand behind it, they won't sell another product in the diesel community. This project was about much more than this truck, it was about a community, (you guys spilled into it too). That community is a very close knit group, we watch over each other. Were not yet big enough that you can screw one of us and get away with it. When you advertise exclusive on the boards these guys are on, your far better off making sure you do the right thing. We police our own. I would say its safe to assume that Trusted Performance is done selling diesel parts.

I have already started the tear down, the rebuild and its gonna be bigger and better than before. I have truly been blessed to have a group of friends that I have. These guys have been behind me from the beginning and are still today. Hell before I had a chance to even get it tore apart completely, they had opened a paypal account to help get it going again ASAP. TP made a huge mistake. I never asked them for a dime, all I wanted was for them to make a few calls and help get the filter company to stand behind their product. They chose not to, they chose to tell me to pack sand. They chose wrong.

I read through the first 2 pages and realized theres 77, so if this idea has come up already, im sorry.

Heres an idea, try widening the front with something from a fullsize, or another 2wd diesel, it will sit really wide, but slap some prerunner fiberglass on the front end. a stock dodge IFS will hold the weight of a cummins, itll hold a 6.0. I know this is vauge information, but ive got something imagined in my head, ill try and draw it up.

I promised 6 events to everyone at a minimum and I gave 8. I put it in the public eye as much as I could, got it in magazines and on TV and did my best to make it something for everyone to be proud of. I feel ok about my decisions.

I have made no decisions on what I will be doing with the truck, but selling it is definitely an option at this point. Its got what it needs to be a runner, it was built well and is a solid foundation. I simply will not lose more than I have possibly lost to take it a step further. I have raced it for the last time. I will still be around here, perhaps not as much, but will be here. The cost to continue is simply too great, (I am not talking financially so let me quell any rumors of my financial demise). Thanks for understanding.

6.0 in ranger

I am currently doing the same thing putting a 6.0 in a reg cab stepside ranger 2wd I have learned it is easier to use the doner 250 frame and put ranger body on it since the ranger frame didn't handle the 1400 ft lbs of torque and twisted and bound a lot of stuff bigger job so make sure you are confident before the tackle and eliminate any and all extras make it a barebones runner with lights and gauges and that's it no electric amenities at all

should be no reason u cant put the cab on and have all normal electronics inside the cab working. I put a ranger cab on a 78 ford bronco frame with a big block and top loader 4 sp. I used the hydraulic clutch out of the ranger even. It was a external slave cylinder. the only thing I didn't have was ac but if the cab would have had it I would have made that work too.

So did you ever build that ranger because I’ve been thinking about doing this and I looked it up and found this page and signed up I want to take a wrecked 6.0 and put everything inside the 2004 ranger frame and shell
