Aight so truck is done!!!!! kinda. Where i "filled" the EGR hole in the headers, apparently isnt closed off so exhaust is coming out of that hole in the header. sucks. threw a code cuz of it im guessing causeing a bit of an idle issue cuz of it too. no worries some JB weld and that hole will be closed tmw. New yoke works perfect and solved my issue! I truly think that I can finally say that this project is 99% complete!!

OK so upon further review JB WELD will not work to plug the hole in that header hole. Anyone know of a compound that would??

Depending how much of a gap you have to fill, you can use copper RTV. I use it on headers all the time to help seal gaskets since it will withstand the temperatures.

You could cover the 1/8th inch hole with the copper RTV.

the plug on the right is what I filled. If anything i can take a dime size piece of metal,, or hell a dime. place it on top and the cover it all with Copper rtv.

Picked up some permeatex liquid metal stuff, up to 2000 degrees. word. and another quart of tranny fuild. but since that stuff takes 4-6 hrs to cure and since its about 95 out and typical FL humidity, id rather sit inside and hang with mal, cook dinner, ad do it later when its cooler out.. ish lol

Mark could you get a measurement of how far the headers stick out from the block or valve cover on both sides. Mainly in the middle right where the shock towers are. Need to see if headers will clear my shock hoops, looks tight.
