Valve Cover Gaskets

I have a valve cover gasket leaking. I have a 1998 XLT 4.0 I was wondering if anyone has changed them and how difficult they are?

If you don't have EGR it is really easy. EGR just provides more steps and a bit more work.

If your going to pull it valve covers, replace the lower intake gasket. The FELPRO kit at rockauto is the way to go. I have 2 OHV's that I have done.

Basically unbolt upper intake. I would buy an egr gasket ans just unbolt it. Not a bad job. Chandler u could bring to columbus and I could help. Got plenty of tools here.
