vacuum lines for gauge

no laughs i was pulling hair trying to find them ha... what i did was found a line on the driverside near the firewall that had2 rubber connectors close together... pulled the hose that connected them together out and installed the "t" fitting in those two rubber connectors...

The under hood diagram usually shows the manifold vacuum source as a hexagon.
The easiest way to find the source is to start at the black spherical vacuum reservoir under the air filter box and trace the thin black plastic vacuum line all the way to where it is tapped into the intake manifold. Then tee the vac gauge line into it as close as possible to the manifold. That will give accurate vacuum readings and fast gauge response.
