Took my truck to the shop
#9
ok. First off the mechanic told me the old clutch was fine. Plenty of life left in it. I guess I convinced myself I "needed" it instead if "wanting" it. Oh well. it's in now. lol.
The difference I noticed immediately is it either grabs earlier or grabs harder. Enough that I stalled the engine twice today when lightly accelerating from a stop. The rythem is different from when I dropped it off.
With the amount of towing I do and the fact that the old clutch had plenty of life left, I have a little more confidence in the truck now when towing.
