underdrive pulley
K&N intake
catback exhaust
got me back to the stock times I had before i put the 33" tires on. You have to keep the go fast mods paced with the go slow mods. those bigger tires change your gear ratio and add the worse kind of extra weight you can put on your truck

It has instructions but they assume some mechanical knowledge by the installer. Give me a call if you get stumped. Like I said earlier- the right tools and its pretty straightforward. Here is my little write up when i did mine:

would it be wise to buy a new oil seal incase i damage the one on there and because my engine has 92,000 miles on it?

yous is shipping today. you;ll get an e-mail with tracking info.. thanks for the purchase.
i went to motorcraft warehouse and had to buy a front engine cover set, it's basically the timing cover gaskets and the seal. it wasn't much- maybe $30. they didn't list the seal by itself. a local parts store may have it by itself. "front crankshaft seal" is the term i used when i got mine. just make sure it's not that plastic piece that snaps on the crank pulley in my tech article. thats a different animal altogether.

I installed a 4.0L ASP Underdrive crank pulley and then data logged the power results during the holidays. And now I've put about 5k miles on it so far.
Here a few quick notes..
Right at 5050rpms I gained 12hp
Basicly the whole torque curve moved up & I gained some TQ up top.
You can definately feel the power increase. Everywhere & no matter what throttle or speed your traveling at.
Gas milage is up a little too. Don't know exactly how much. But it's up. (avg-ing 18s now)
I've had ZERO issue with cooling or electrical power. It's not really been warm enough to run the AC yet.
I've put underdrives on 3 different cars now. And IMO it's a very solid bang for the buck. This ranger seems to have had the best results IMO too.
Belt size. I marked all the locations on my tensioner. (no load, lock, stock belt) And when I went to get a belt all the local store had was a 85" gatorback. It's been on there since and works good. It's operating at about 1" less of rotation than the stock belt even when it's got some heat in it. I'm keeping an eye on it because I am curious how much it'll grow in the summer heat.

mine should be here on Tuesday.....hopefully it would be installed next Saturday....i hope i can see a difference......other than this the only other "bolt" on mods for my 4.0 OHV is a BBK throttle body, complete intake, and headers ......then it is on to the 4.5L stroker kit after that (which i WILL have done by the end of next year hopefully; well depending on what the ole lady has spend on the wedding already )
