Strange cold start issue.

Strange cold start issue.
For the last year or two I have noticed that when I do a cold start and run it for less than a minute and shut it off, then cold start it several hours later it will feel like it it not running on all cylinders. It clears within ten seconds and then runs normally. It does not do this if the engine is warmed up when I shut it down. In fact, it normally starts and runs very well.
I am not very concerned about this about this anomaly but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. Could this possibly be a symptom of something bad to come? Any ideas of what may cause it?
BTW, cold starts in So Cal are not very cold.

From a tune standpoint the two starts would be the same. Coolant temp & intake temp are pretty much what's driving a "cold start".
So.. if it's stumbling I'd guess that maybe a injector is leaking. Or possibly a fuel filter is too dirty.
Try this next time. Before starting it the second time turn the ignition on for 3 seconds *before* starting the motor. If it starts good.. then chances are it's just the filter. If it does the same thing.. then I'd go looking for a bad injector.
