Serpentine belt rubs on lower hose

Serpentine belt rubs on lower hose
2004 with 4.0 and 5 speed manual. The lower radiator hose runs much too close to the serpentine belt. I have to tie it away with Cable ties so it will not rub. I have tried gates hose and motorcraft hose. Both have the same issue.
I had the cable tie break today, rubbed thru the hose and broke down on the side of the road. 10 degrees above zero, 40 mph wind and snowing. Not any fun.
Is there a certain belt I can get to fix this? Is anyone else having this problem?

Make sure you've got SerpBelt routed correctly; see diagram below.
Also can use generic 1.5"ID
RubberFlexHosewith internal anti~collapse spiral wire (Gates makes these, measure+order length needed, trim length if needed), or
StainlessFlexHosethats easily shaped (cut old RubberHose for EndCouplings using DoubleWormClamps, Amazon or Ebay),
bend+cut to length as needed for routing+clearance.
Pic below of upper radiator StainlessFlexHose on my 2001 V6~4.0L~SOHC; lower hose was cut from same 48" length;
don't use junk rubber couplers that come with kit, make your own from the old 1.5" RubberHose. Works nicely.
