Dont mean to take over the thread but, what did the vortex muffler sound on your 4.0? Ive heard the extreme muffler on a 3.0 i think, and it sounded pretty rugged. Obviously with the 4.0 it would sound even more so, better i assume?

Super 44 is deeper, more powerful sound compaired to my Super 40 I had AND the Original 40 I had.

My Super 44 is dual out. All my others are single out...might make a difference. Actually.....i'm starting to feel positive about this....dual out dumped is effin' hella sick sounding compaired to single dumped.

I'm still going to run tailpipes on mine though...most likely.

If you do tips like mine make sure they suck the tips us as far as they can to the bumper. It looks weird if they dont and it keeps them away from the big scary rocks that ruin your day wheelin

Can't do that....spindles. If i do tailpipes...it'll be dumped infront of my hitch....won't be able to see 'em. stealth like. And i don't like under the bumper on lifted trucks.
