O2 Sensor?

Ok, still having the same problems. Dead pedal sometimes other times it will cut out and "buck" get power then not get power. Other times it will run fine.

I got 2 codes, one was the Throttle position sensor and the other was an O2 sensor in "BANK 2".

I changed the throttle position sensor but it is still doing it. Please note, after I replaced the Throttle Position sensor, I notice a slight modulation in the RMPs at idle. I do not belive the modulation was there before. I have already replaced the Fuel filter and Fuel Pump Relay.

Will the O2 sensor off of my brothers 96 4.0L Exp work with my 94 4.0L Ranger?

Also which side is"Bank 2" ?

Thanks,

Bank 2 should be on the right hand side or passenger side of the engine. The sensor at the end of the exhaust manifold. You could try the sensor so see if it would fit and work but sometimes they can be stubborn to get out. I personally would just go and get a new one.

The sensors are fairly universal, just the wiring on them isn't. If the 96 has the SOHC it may have too long of a wire or too short.

These things are only good for about 100k after that they get lazy, so they are general maintenance items like spark plugs.
