might be same old intake ?? but i got confused readng others...

hey guys,
if you got time to answer i appreciate it. lookin for a finacially small mod, and by reading a new cold air intake would be a good thing to do. Am i Right?
and if so, what would i be looking for, it seemed the dbate of boxed unboxed was 50/50 and also wondering what brand would be best or got best result.

last thing is, im still learning but there is a bunch of wires attached to the tubing of th stock air, do these new ones have the adapter to fit those wires....or do i need them attached...really dont know what they do...
thank guys....

Myself i got a K&N FIPK Gen II cone style open intake, its pretty nice theres many different intakes, as well as prices, i know theres also one called Volant i think thats an enclosed type?. Im not sure what anyone else here has. Either way there all good.

No matter what brand you get all your electrical connections will match up with the intake you choose no problem ...all the wires and sensors will go on your new intake tube in same location as stock, so no worrys there!

we have a pretty good array of intakes on our site with pretty good pricing

the volant is my favorite but is on backorder, after that i would choose the S&B, the boxed filter really makes a big difference.

but if youre looking for a financially small mod with a big impact, your best bet would be an efan, and with our group buy going on right now, they are already $40 off retail.

Why is the Volant your favorite?

for the price spend a little extra and get a bamachips tuner. way more worth the money than a CAI.

I like the volant because it uses a black plastic tube that fits in under the hood, it has a closed filter box to keep warm air out and keep engine noise a little quieter, and just from my experience is it as well engineered and manufactured as a K&N Intake, but the boxed filter is one of the biggest plusses
