Like the title says are the gibson exhaust systems any good? They have a great price but are they worth the money with sound, performance, qulity?

I've had two of them-both stock exit location (one on my '00, one on my '04 after the Magnaflow, but before the Bassani). Make sure you go with stainless steel or you're wasting your money living in the ?Salt Belt. Well made, fit well, sounds decent-not really loud, no drone inside the cab, nice bark when you get on it

I had it welded on by a local shop. I felt power down low and it sounds great. JBA makes the best headers but just skip them and get a XCAL 3

Borla is the way to go

I have the pro xs racing muffler it makes the truck roar like a v8! It is a head turner also I have borla headers but hooker makes some for the truck and other companies do as well borla made these for this truck. gibsons are good but cant compare to the racing background that borla has. what type of sounds are you looking for?

Not to be a dick or anything but, you couldn't be more wrong, every muffler is different in every way. what it is made off, what s inside of it, how much back pressure it creates, you can create to much and not enough. some create more torque than others. Some are heavy and can throw off the balance of the vehicle when cornering and that lessens the area of slack between sliding out in a turn or sticking to the ground. bottom line before you get any muffler check forums like this to see if any body else has "ginny pigged" the thing for you. Good luck in your muffler choosing
