Fuel Filter (Maybe Stupid Question)

is there a way i can shut off the fuel pump and run the engine to suck the fuel out of the lines?? i dont want to have gas in the lines when i do this...

i dont have my owners manual so i dont know what fuse it is ......and the inertia switch i have no idea how to trip it and really dont want todo that.....

yes iam afraid to get gas on me...iam a tard......lol

you dont want to do that.......just get the gas on ya....it aint too bad, just dont smoke or have an open flame around it....

lol.....its good for you to intake some gas every now and then.......keeps you from injesting fire...

haha not funny.......iam about to get stired in tranny fluid next..........how fun!!!! i love tuning up my truck its starting to run alot better.....so far i have

1. Double Platinum spark plugs (installed)
2. Premium Wires From Napa (installed)
3. New Fuel Filter (installed)
4. 2 cans of Seafom Thru brake booster line (Done)
5. 1 can Seafoam in gas tank... (Done)


What else do i need to do?

i forgot about me running the seafoam thru my system...lol

havent got around to the radiator flush yet....

differential....waiting on getting a new rear differential cover....the lower lip on mine is bent and is leaking.......

just do it with no shirt on and take a shower when you are done.
be careful of:
-incense
-lit candles
-cigars
-cigarettes
-zippo lighters
-butane lighters
-lit matches
-pyromaniacs
-firemen
-welders
-sparklers
-any sort of firework
-guns

You forgot weapons of mass destruction, i think those cause some kind of spark or flame too.

I know it's done, and that you weren't going for the inertia switch idea, but for the future... flipping the truck is the easiest way to hit that switch and probably the most fun

rollover mod...sounds good to me


alright guys so far i have

1. Double Platinum spark plugs (installed)

5. 1 can Seafoam in gas tank... (Done)
6. Radiator Flush (used some cleaner stuff) and rinsed and then added the antifreeze mixture.....(Done)

what else?

changing your diff fluids....put pure synthetic in there when you change it........also flush your tranny....

how did that seafoam through the brake booster line work? make it run any smoother?

changing your diff fluids....put pure synthetic in there when you change it........also flush your tranny.... when i pull the transfer case off iam goig to do that....wat grade of if i remember correctly its mercon5 correct....didnt know they made a synthetic

how did that seafoam through the brake booster line work? make it run any smoother? before it was idleing kind of rough so i put 2 cans in back to back while the engine was reved to 2500rpms and it made it a little better then i ran the 3rd can in it thru the gas tank....that was abouta monthago just got finished running another can thru it 5mins ago......

when you change the diff fluids, use full synthetic.........75w90

when you flush your tranny, use mercron 5 tranny fluid......

sorry i said it a little confusing....

did your truck smoke like crazy when you put in the sea foam?

it looked like it was on fire the first time i ran it thru it....lol second time wasnt as bad and this last time was minimal
