I got 45s with a glasspack mine, heres a pic i have a sound clip in my signiture as well.

I am thinking about cutting them off though because after the body lift they hang down to low now, so if you are thinking about getting a body lift in the feature, wait and do your exhaust after that.

no, the guy that installed that used crappy pipe, and i got screwed, the winters caused it to rust BAD, i didnt have any cash so i had to do a SI/SO exahust dumped after the bumper. it was only 125 bucks so i couldnt complain.

Ya for sure, ill post pics tomorrow. Trying to find some black chrome tips in my area, its not working tho. As for the body lift, its not going to happen unless i really need to jack the truck up witch i hope i dont. Im for sure getting a 4 in kit sometime in the next year.

um um...just 1 thing 100% make sure there is no way you will put a body lift on your truck 100% at all. if you want too even a little 100% skip the exhaust for now...

I used to have mine going straight out the back but getting a hitch kinda ruined that. I think I like them coming out at 45 now. You can hear it a little better too. I don't really have a good pic from the back of the truck except for the one in my avitar. I had to put the spare in the back of the truck, but that was just so the guy who did the exhaust could have a little more freedon to bend the pipe without having to worry about the spare.
Theres are just a few pictures of how the pipe is bent underneth.

It depends on the hitch too, I had a Draw tite hitch that was completely hidden behind the bumper, I hate how the factory hitch looks (Huge ugly hunk of metal out in the open) I had them straight out the back about frame width apart and it looked great. And with the Draw tite you could still get the hitch off if you has too. I personally don't like 45's, but that is my opinion. I would do dual 90's before 45's

Yea I like yours John. I think you might have a little more room to work with then I did since your bed doesnt get narrow in the back.

It'll come down to what you like better. I like how both of them looked, straight out the back and the 45's.

Yea thats a good idea. I'm off tomorrow, maybe I'll do that tonight. I don't really want to take off the axle to paint it lol Thats the only reason I've been putting it off. ill buy loads of masking tape lol

actually when i do mine i just craw under there and spray the desired areas, like the axle, brake lines, bolts, frame, mounts, and springs. but if i dont want to get it on the shock i just dont spray them. only thing i would mask is the diff cover. and watch the tips.

i am going to recoat a bunch of it here soon. ill take some pics.

I just went to Pep Boys on my lunch and bought some paint. That'll give me something to do tonight. I'll take some pics when I'm done.

I feel like we hijacked this thread....

If you're getting a hitch on your truck, you might have to get 45's. I think it kinda depends on if you're going to keep the spare under there or not. Since the quad doesnt fit in the back of my truck cause its a flareside, i have to put it in a trailer....hence the spare gets the back of truck lol

45* exhaust will work with a spare mine was that way for a long time, but it is a very tight fit.

you have a different hitch zach. your setup would not work on a stock hitch.

look at your hitch the outside plates twist in, on a stock ranger hitch that they offer with 01+ rangers the hitch is on the outside of the frame and is within only a few inches of the springs.
