Dan...

Keep it on a dedicated switch and dont turn it on until you need to. In the cold weather, why would it kick on faster? the engine would really stay cooler longer, wouldn't it?

I'm in Erie, PA right now and I have an e-fan installed, great mod in my opinion. My fan doesn't really kick on in the cold unless i'm sitting in idle for a little while. It's been working perfectly since I put it on. Helps with mph a few a definate power gain, and fairly easy install.

I have pictures of mine at home, I will post them tonight when I get home.

For my set up ( bobs that is ) it is a controler, you can set it to turn on at whatever temp you want. when installed mine, I installed an override switch ( on/off), and indicator light so i know it turns on, I will get you pictures of that too.

OK time for pictures. I am sorry they are not the best .... and that it took so long, i thought i lost my camera and found it today ....

I have the e-fan inside of the stock fan shroud .... and the controler is right above that ...

The controler ...

Here is my override switch and indicator light .... from sitting in the drivers or pass seat you cant even see the switch and light ... which i like since it is hidden. I can tell when the light comes on because it lights up the whole floor board ... lol ..

I hope this is what you were looking for everone. If not let me know I will try to get pics of what you are looking for ...

-Jared

Dang! That's a clean install! I am excited, now...

Did it fit with no problems in the stock shroud? That looks really nice!
