-mileage - 1 or 2 mpg, but most likely one.
-power - just so u know, an e-fan doesnt create power...it just frees up the power
-running smoother - sometimes it'll run smoother but it'll be noiser.
-Tempature the fan starts - typically around 190-200 degrees.
-ect...

And any tips or thoughts on the install....

Thanks!
id look heavily into an e-fan from a taurus that had a 3.8L v-6. pushes a good amount of CFM, cheap and plentiful at ur local pick n pull. then get urself a controller and ur set.

please note, that with any e-fan, the start up current draw will be fairly high. also they usually use 20-35 amps running.

they certainly ARE worth the time!! go read my post about them!! i know jared has one of mine on his truck, the startup amps are not bad, and the running amps on my single 16 inch kit is about 13.2 WELL WORTH the money for gas mileage, and performance!!

I have Bobs efan and it kicks ***!!!!!! to start with ...

mpg went from 20 to 21 to 23 to 24 mpg .... so that right there is worth it imo!!

power gain (even though i have the s/c ) i noticed it ran TONS smoother than with the whobel of the mech fan, and i noticed it more in the top end where power was better.

the amp draw is not bad at all ... pulls around 19 amps to start it, and steadys out around 13 to 14 amps to run. it cools ALOT better than the stock fan espiecally at idle when it kicks on.

i have my fan kick on around 192 degrees. i can sit at a light for about 5 to 6 min before it will even kick on.
in these past few days it has been very nice, my truck warms up alot faster ( because the fan doesnt turn on untill it gets hot enough, unlike the mech fan where its always trying to cool even when the engine is cold.

imo efans are well worth the cash im MPG, and power gain plus all the other little benifits!

good luck!!

a single 16 inch is plenty for the ranger. i use a single 16 on my 450 hp torino!!

it comes with a fully adjustable controller, so you can have all the say in when it comes on. There are some wires to work with, but my kit includes wire loom, so you can make it pretty if you want

hopefully we can get some intall pics soon, im sure jared has some.

there are about 5 people on here now running my fan kit, so far so good!!
