Engine Sound On Acceleration

The sounds at 0:09 - 0:11 in the first clip and at 0:10 - 0:15 in the second differ.
Clip 1 has a truer "wind-up noise" like some spinning component. Maybe alternator or idler pulley.
Clip 2 is a deeper mechanical "rattle-which-wants-to-become-a-chatter" kind of noise as an AC compressor might make. You know it ain't a speedometer cable.
Does the vehicle have to be moving?
I'd guess something out of the trannie would impart some vibration to the vehicle.

Hey Georgeandkira, thanks for the response.
The truck sounds perfect when its not moving, and the sound only comes when let its pushing just under 2000 RPM.
Another example of what it sounds like, is similar to an electric motor.
Its my first Ranger, so maybe this is a Ranger thing. but its strange to hear the engine going strong, and and then to hear a secondary sound kick in like this.
Cheers.

My 3.0 makes the same noise, it's really no big deal it could be a number of things, it's best to not worry about it too much, you will end up replacing everything before it stops, I had that issue with a motor mount, I thought it was my front end causing vibrations on the dash so I re-did my entire front end just to find out it was a motor mount (stupid I know, but my front end was trashed anyway so it needed it), I would keep an eye on your fluid levels just to be safe, but I already do that daily.

Possible noise sources:
~ Has AirFilter\Box been modified\replaced recently?
~ Has IACValve, ThrottleBody, MAFSensor been cleaned\replaced recently?
~ Has RadiatorFanClutch, WaterPump been replaced recently?
~ Has SerpentineBelt been replaced recently?
~ Has BeltIdlerPulley, BeltTensionerPulley been lubed\replaced recently?
~ Has InstrumentCluster Speedo\OdoMeter been lubricated recently?
~ Has PCVValve at rear of left ValveCover been cleaned\replaced recently?
~ Has OilPressurized TimingTensioners been replaced recently?
~ Has Tranny ATF+Filter been checked\changed recently?
~ Has RadioNoiseSuppresorCapacitor been removed\disconnected from IgnitionCoilPack?
Any other recent modifications\maintenance items or driving "events"?
