coil pack....again.....

how much voltage is my coil pack susposed to be putting out? i need to check it before i go replacing it and was curious.......

you are supppose to check it using internal resistance. I dont know the numbers on top of my head though

huh?

you mean i can't just put my fluke voltage meter on it to check it?

-volts DC
-ohms
-amps

i guess it wont check it out then will it?

ohms is resistance. Ohms is the measurement of resistance (like in car audio)

I swapped to the screamin demon so I have the one off my truck. It's a 2004 with 70,000 when I pulled it. It all checked out fine when I ohm'd it. Motorcraft site is down so I can't do a cross check between years on fitment.

The haynes manual outlines the ohm check on it.

awww i see!

is there any way that if i order a coil pack to have it overnighted?

yes, it's too late to get it out today. It could be done for Sat delivery or Monday.
