i have a question about these plugs... i have seen them but have NO experience with them as we only use motorcraft and autolite at work.
what is the advantage that bosch claims having 4 ground straps instead of one? it cant spark to all 4 at the same time(i wouldnt think, knowing that electricity always takes the path of least resistance, it would jump to only one of the straps). so i really dont see an advantage.
not trying to start an argument, just seeing if someone has some insight on this. again i have NO experience with them.

electricity only needs ONE path to ground, not four.
there is no advantage to using these plugs. thats all i have to say.

^^^^in Your trucks.
Others have had different results. Personally I don't think it's the +4s that cause the problems. In more recent years, I have run into poor quality control with Bosch plugs in general. I have found a lot of plugs that are leaking compression and blowing fire around where the ceramic enters the base, right out of the box. The worst scenario was when I had to get 18 Bosch Platinum plugs to get 8 that worked for a tune up on a Mountaineer 5.0. Thats just poor QC.

You know, I think its funny when threads like this come up in different forums. Theres always somebody who says "take them back to the nimrods behind the counter that sold them to you and tell them your truck runs crap". You know, I work in a parts store and have for a while now. Its amazing some of things your hear people say. Just this week I had a guy who said "yeah these bosch plus 4's are the best plugs on the planet" and he bought some. So does me selling him what he asked for make me a nimrod? I think its pretty funny when I hear somebody say that, when all most parts people do is sell people the stuff they ask for.-Just my two cents.

Bosch plugs were the cause of a misfire problem with my Ranger when I bought it (previous owner had just installed them).

The ones that have had problems with Bosch plugs out number the ones that claim not to have had a problem, and even you agree there is no improvement with them, so why take a chance on using them?
