Borla mufflers

I'm very interested in getting a Borla muffler, but not sure what would be the best for a stock setup. There's the turbo, XR-1 race muffler or the Pro XS. I'm looking at removing my rear cat and running a 2.5" single exhaust system. I've only heard some of these mufflers on V-8's. Any sugestions?

Borla ProXS is the best IMO get a short case for best sound.

I have the XL version which is longer to knock down the noise

Talk to SoundPer4mance on AIM or send him a PM on here, he got my Turbo muffler. A turbo muffler is a straight through design same as a Pro XS but the pro XS is basically the value version.

Longer the muffler the quieter it gets.

im running the proXS too. i LOVE it. best muffler i've run hands down in terms of sound, imo (vs flomaster, magnaflow, and dynomax)

its calm at idle, and and sounds more smooth and refined at higher rpms than, say a flowmaster, which has more raspiness to it.

I had a ProXS on my old truck too... I had LOTS of people ask me how I managed to fit a V8 into a Ranger, but I had to tell them it was just a 4.0L. I can't wait to get the exhaust done on my new truck with another Borla.

I honestly never heard the Bassani's, however Compared to flowermaster and the other sound clips I have heard on here, Borla sounds the best through the hole RPM range.
