Any advice Ford Explorer engine swap???

I have a 2001 Explorer 2x2 with a blown 4.0 SOHC. I also have a 1997 Explorer 4x4 with a good 4.0 ohv. What do I have to do to make it work in the 2001 2x2? I plan on starting this project tomorrow afternoon. Any advice would help. I also have been a Mechanic for the last 25years , but never thought I'd be doing .

The 4.0l OHV and SOHC use same transmission bolt pattern so are swappable in that respect

Explorers will have automatics normally, but there were two, 4R - 4speed, and 5R - 5speed
The computer runs these transmission
The 4.0l OHV and 4.0l SOHC use different software on the computer for engine management so swapping computers would be best
'97 won't have PATS which is a plus

Engine and trans wiring should be similar but Cam position sensor will only be 2 wire on '01 harness '97 need 3 wire harness, so you may need to swap harnesses
Some of the connector will most likely be different as well which makes swapping the harness as the best choice.
