timing chain cover bolt question

timing chain cover bolt question
I'm replacing my timing gear set on my 2002 3.0 Ranger, the timing chain cover has never been removed, I'm on the only owner of this truck. The Haynes manual says to use plumbers teflon on bolt number 1 and 2, when I pulled the bolts out all the 8mm bolts has what looked like red threadlocker. Does anyone know when bolt is 1 and 2? And should I use red threadlocker on the rest of the bolts?

timing chain cover bolt question
My 2005 Ford Workshop manual shows pipe sealant with Teflon added to three bolts.
As you face the front cover, (1) the bottom left bolt, skip one, (2) then the next two bolts going up on the left-hand side.
I found it worth every cent to order a CD-ROM of the FORD Ranger Service Manual online:
