Service and Repair Manuals

So I tried searching the Forum for some information about manuals but came up with old posts and of course recommendation of the Ford published manual to be the best but for $$$$$ (can't afford that right now) so can anyone that has had experience with the FORD Service and Repair Manual on DVD that are sold on eBay give me some feedback please? I need one for my 2003 Ford Ranger, I found this on eBay:
Details about Ford ALL Models 2003-2004 Service Repair Workshop Manual on DVD

Here is the link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-ALL-Mo...1Vgkpv&vxp=mtr

It depends on the information you are looking for

I have never used the above manual, so can't say what info would be included

A Chilton's 2003 Ranger manual might be better
An ALL Ford '03/'04 model manual might not have much Ranger specific info, but can't say.

For electrical problems there is only one manual with any value to YOU at all, 2003 Ranger EVTM(electrical vacuum troubleshooting manual)
Ford makes these for each year and model of vehicle and sends it out to dealer shops with Shop Manuals for that year, it is part of the Set, the most used book in the set, lol, so often missing if you buy an older set.
This book lists all circuits and locations of all wiring and connectors.

If you just need general info then almost any manual that includes '03 Rangers should be OK

Chilton's has on-line access to specific years/models

^ Thanks RonD! Will check the Chilton out. I was looking at the Haynes but it covers something like 1993 thru 2011 including the Mazda so I can't imagine it could be that detailed over all those model years, especially for my MY2003. The information I am looking for is part numbers, specifications, procedures and tightening torques values.

Try this site for part numbers: Official Ford Parts Site | Buy Motorcraft & OEM Ford Parts Online | FordParts.com

Have your VIN handy for faster look up

Generally speaking most 3rd party manuals will only have general disassembly/assembly instructions, and torque specs
Only a Ford shop manual for that year and model would have the specifics, if there were any changes
