It's been about 9 months since I went to the track. But last time out here's what I got.

60 ft=2.406 with tire spin.
1/8= 9.543 @ 78.84
1/4= 14.869 @ 96.86

I've slapped around my share of ricers with there stupid loud fart pipes.

1/8th mile dude. Thats only like high 11's/low 12s

The 7.1 he mentioned is actually probably a very very low 11.

If you went 17.7@96 then there is something very wrong with the timing at that track.

My stock 2.5 with a 5 speed went 17.4@77 and my stock '96 Mustang GT with an auto went 15.8@88.

So your 17.7 second run has the MPH for a low 14 / high 13 second run.

No street legal evo can run a low 11.

Do you mean no stock Evo can run low 11's?
Because I know of a few street legal Evo's that run quicker than that.

Why not? 11's are definately fast, but I don't see why it can't be done. It wont be stock, but street legal shouldn't be a problem.

A friend of mine had a Grand National here in Commifornia that was legit street legal (smog and all) and it would tickle the 10s so why can't an Evo do it?

Street legal basically means catback and intake. This will not get you into the 11's.

When I ran an 11.6 on E85 I had a full headback exhaust including my Fp-Red, S1 cams, double pumper fuel pumps with 1000cc injectors, a built engine and nothing stock except my intake manifold.

If street legal means you can only have an intake and cat back then my Ranger must be a track only vehicle.
There's cars around Central Florida that will run in the 9's that are considered street legal.
So once again I know of a stock motor, stock turbo daily driven Evo that will run in the 10's.
I know this because I've seen it in person.
The audio has been cut but here's a vid.

Here's another one. This car is not so stock and tore up my buddy's 600 HP Vette form a roll.
CFT can make a turbo car rip.
Look's street legal to me.

Not to be an e-harda$$, but I'll scan in my time slips. I had speed limiter set at 110, and my shift points were changed with the tuner. I doubt their timing devices would be off that much.

now talking street-legal i know this dude (you may heard of hem) he lives not too far away from me. he goes to a lot of the local car shows around were i live
Rod Saboury
he has a 1963 Corvette
its SWEET. and its street-legal in Maryland with hot-rod tags.

just a bit more info for you all

At Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH, Saboury laid down an UNBELIEVEABLE pass in his Moran Racing Engines powered twin-turbo 1963 Corvette. At the hit of the throttle, the front wheels went airborn and carried past the 60 foot mark. All systems were go past the 330-mark as Rod planned on getting out of the throttle at the 1/8 mile. Somewhere during the run, that plan went out the window. As Rod pulled forth gear, the rear tires chattered ending what could have been the first 6-second pass in a True Street hot rod. But wait...wheeling like the true champion that he is, Rod backed out of the throttle just slightly and to his crew chief bitter distaste, decided that it was all or nothing, and let her rip through the top end. The result? The quickest pass for a True Street car. 6.95 seconds at over 210 mph.

Rod, his crew chief, and engine builder, Mike Moran were completely ecstatic as they made history with this beautiful Corvette. Don't think Rod drives this car often? Think again. Rod and his wife Tina make sure to hit as many cruises as they can. This Corvette has seen more traffic jams than a commuter on the Long Island Expressway. Congrats Rod. You showed the Mustangs that we are and always will have the fastest/baddest hot rods on the planet.

I would really appricate it if you scanned the time slips. The only way you could have that much speed with that slow of a time would be to miss a gear and have tremendous wheel spin.

It's all good Bro.
Nobody is calling you a liar. It's just that the Time/MPH does not really match up.
My buddy's Tundra runs low 14's at around 98-99 MPH.
I run mid to upper 14's at around 96 mph.
I don't know how many newer Mustangs I've seen run mid 14's in the 95 MPH range.
I ran my wife's Hemi 300 C to a 14.4 at 97 MPH.
So if you really went 96 in the 1/4 you have a mid 14 sec. ride.
