P0135
I have a 2002 Ford Ranger 2wd 3.0 auto. I’m getting trouble code p0135 and the truck is running rough.
I just bought and downloaded the 93 oct tune with a SCT X4 and I’m hoping it didn’t mess up my pcm. I replaced the bank 1 sensor
not to long ago. Anybody ever get this code and how did you fix it. Thanks

Never look up a single code, you will get the wrong answer 99.9% of the time
Look at a full code list, as seen here: OBD-II Trouble Codes : The Ranger Station
Then look at ALL the codes the computer can choose from for, in this case O2 sensor on Bank I Sensor 1, which is the passenger side O2 on a V6, nearest the engine
P0130 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0131 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank I Sensor I)
P0132 02 Sensor Circuit High Voltage (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0133 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0134 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank I Sensor 1)
P0135 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
P0135, means HEATER in the O2 is not getting 12volts
There are 4 wires to each O2 sensor
2 are for the sensor part
2 are for the HEATER part
The O2 sensors share 1 fuse for the Heaters, so that is OK or you would get other codes for the heaters in the other O2s
Heaters are GROUNDED by the computer, thats is how the computer can tell they are working, it "sees" 12v from the fuse going thru the heater
So either the 12v wire or the Ground wire for the heater is bad
