ya it probably does. so, so far the stealership stole $140.50 to tell me that the tests they did so far were all clear and the computer is not the problem. great now im out 140 and im in the same position i was in when i left it. is it just me or does this seem wrong. but i know people dont care cause i saw other people paying the bill and not asking questions so maby im just weird. so they need another $91 dollar hour and better yet they cant work on it till monday. (i dropped it off thursday morning) so the truck is sitting in the dealer all weekend doing nothing. this is kinda pissing me off. if they dont find somthing by the next hour i will be super pissed. cause i kinda have to keep paying them until they find out whats wrong otherwise i walk out $x dollars porrer and a truck that is no better. f my life. althow it does make feel a little better to realize how bad other peoples life sux. if i think about it between the wheel bearings, break jobs, rack and pinnion, avm hubs, oil changes, tire rotations, engine rebuild, ect i would probably be out 5 grand if i was a normal person and didnt do the work myself. so.............

Man you are having some bad luck with that truck. I hope you get it squared away. But I have to say that paying a stealership to not find the problem...well wasnt a good idea. How the h*** can they charge you without finding the problem. No mechanic or dealership could ever pull that off around here, that just seems bad policy to charge for nothing.
Anyways best of luck to ya, I hope it gets fixed without breaking your bank.

ya they charged me for the labor of running the tests. so i go pick it up cause if i turn my tps screw and put it the iac restrector it runs fine and idles about 950. but what pisses me off is when im moving it idles to 2000 and when i stop it hangs at 1500 for 30 seconds and then drops to 900. if it didnt do that i would probably have never taken it in. but i mean it not running when its "right" it kinda just pisses me off. also get this. i go to the dealer to pick it up. and THE KEYS ARE IN IT AND ITS UNLOCKED!!! it was 8:30 and night and dark out. that kinda makes me mad cause all the other service cars around it were locked. i think its cause i told them i was going to come by and pick it up either tomorrow or the next day. idk still seems fishy.....i tiod them i had a spare.

ok so i still haven't taken it back but i found out that with the restrector plate or the gasket and i unplug the iac it idles about 850 cold and still 1100 warm but it doesnt hang in 1500 for 30 seconds like it used to. it runs like every normal car. when u pull up to a stop it goes to idle weather ur moving or not. and when u give it gas just sitting there it goes back to idle all it one shot instead of with steps. so now i have a good running truck with a check engine light. (unplugged iac)

To reset the PCM, just disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes. That should do it.
